Jingle Bell Jog

Had a good time today at the 15th annual #stanfordjinglebelljog and ran the same time as last year!

Last year at this same time, it was a beautiful weekend, made my best time at the same race, and then woke up the next morning to raw sewage in my basement... which would soon turn out to be the biggest financial disaster of my life.

If that's the worst hand I ever get dealt in this life- I'm still way ahead of the curve.

As I finished the race, I thanked God for my health, my family, the ability to provide for them.... and that I didn't injure myself as I haven't run 3 miles in a year and I just showed up with about 12 cups of coffee and little food in my system!
